The Aurora Center for Advocacy & Education provides a free and confidential space for students, faculty, and staff affiliated with the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and Augsburg University who are victims/survivors/concerned people of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and sexual harassment.

Aurora Clients:  

Aurora's physical office will re-open August 24, 2020. Aurora staff are meeting with new and returning clients. 

The office will be open, however due to distancing guidelines, all client meetings will be conducted in separate offices using Zoom.

Appointments can be scheduled by emailing aurora@umn.edu or by visiting our office in Appleby Hall, room 117.
Prevention Education: 

Workshops are being facilitated by Aurora staff and trained volunteers.

Due to distancing guidelines, all workshops will be facilitated remotely using Zoom or other technology services. Efforts to customize and engage in dialogue/activities will still be made.

Currently, precautions relating to COVID-19 and other budget issues Aurora can not offer our 40 hour training which does not allow new volunteers to join Aurora. Our previously trained and confidential volunteers are still covering our 24 Hour Helpline and facilitating workshops remotely.
