The Aurora Center provides free and confidential crisis intervention to victims of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking and harassment. We want all our clients and our campus partners to feel respected and heard. The Aurora Center is a place for ALL people affiliated with the University of Minnesota or Augsburg College impacted or concerned about sexual or relationship violence.
Not only does TAC provides services for victims/survivors/ but we also do consultations for "concerned persons" – that is people who are concerned about a friend or loved one who has experienced some type of sexual or relationship violence.
TAC accepts walk-in clients and operates a 24-hour Helpline, which is answered 365 days a year. Our advocates are training sexual assault crisis counselors and can assist you with support, resources, and available options.
The Aurora Center serves approximately 400 people per year through its advocacy services. TAC also provides education and training to University of Minnesota students, staff and faculty, as well as to the Twin-Cities community, reaching nearly 5,000 people per year with a prevention message of hope and respect.
